It has been reported that Comrade Thiha Nay Soe, also known as Toby or Agga, who is in charge of Mon State Revolutionary Organization(MSRO), was killed in a battle near Plaiki Village, Duya Village, Ye Township, Mon State.
On the afternoon of last October (17), in charge of the MSRO,Comrade Thiha Nay Soe and his team went to the Asin village to attack the police station in Zee Phu Thaung village and when retreating, another battle broke out with the military council near Plaike village, according to the statement.
In that battle,Toby Nay Soe ,the Comrade in charge of MSRO ,was killed and his body was not recovered.
The soldier in charge of the MSRO team was killed,however, the weapons and ammunitions were not confiscated and the other soldiers have returned to a safe place.
It is said that the Zee Phyu Thaung Police Station and the Military Council were damaged and injured in the two clashes, and it is not yet confirmed how many of them died.
The report said that the Fallen Comrade Thiha Nay Soe was a youth leader of the National League for Democracy(NLD) party in Ye Township, and his father, U Wunna Soe, was too brutally murdered by the army while opposing the military dictator in the previous revolution that started at 1988.
