Trader of betel nuts in Mon State explained that less demand of export and the lower market price are big problems. It will even leads to the market crisis if it is continue in that way.
Betel nut traders happened to buy the products in high prices while Myanmar currency exchange rate is very low. But when in the time of distribution, Myanmar currency revalue and the product prices going down.
When the dollar exchange rate was so high, 1 viss cost about 10,000 kyat. But in current, market rate is going down very low even reach to 6,000 kyat for 1 viss.
